American rapper Future holds the record for the most number one albums on the US Top Rap Albums chart with 16. Meanwhile, Amcor expects to deliver $260 million in pre-tax synergies in fiscal 2026 following its all-stock combination with Berry Global.
The Future of the Atlanta Sound
Future is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer. He is known for his mumble-style, rap-singing, and prolific output. He helped pioneer the use of Auto-Tuned delivery in trap music. He signed a major label recording contract with Epic Records in September 2011. His ninth album, I Never Liked You, won Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
The artist has a significant history of chart success. He holds the record for the most albums at number one on the US Top Rap Albums chart with 16. His album Pluto, released in April 2012, included the single "Turn on the Lights," which the RIAA eventually certified platinum. He also released the collaborative project Pluto x Pluto with Lil Uzi Vert in 2020.
The Championship Scale of Amcor
Amcor completed its all-stock combination with Berry Global on April 30, 2025. This combination provides Amcor with a broader portfolio and scale to meet consumer needs. Berry Global is a Fortune 500 company with more than 240 locations globally. The company collaborated with Nestle Purina PetCare to make cat treat canisters from 100% recycled plastic.
Amcor expects to deliver $260 million of pre-tax synergies in fiscal 2026 alone, which will drive an adjusted EPS accretion of approximately 12 percent for the combined company during this period. By the end of fiscal 2028, total pre-tax synergy benefits will build to approximately $650 million. Amcor notes that integration risks and the inability to realize expected synergy benefits could affect the results of the combination.
